It provides a hierarchy of functional, immutable packages — r1 (1D intervals), r2 (2D Cartesian), r3 (3D vectors), s1 (angular types), earth (Earth distance conversions), and s2 (spherical geometry: CellID, caps, lat/lng rectangles, loops, polygons, cell coverings) — that together enable spatial indexing, containment queries, region covering, and distance computations on the unit sphere. The system has no network IO, no database, no message queues, no authentication, and no PII; it is a pure computation library consumed via npm by downstream geospatial applications."
